Jill Curnutt-Howerton

Hello,  I am Jill ,  I am married to Kenny,  and we have four gorgeous kids   (not partial  just stating facts),   Todd,  who  is 21,  brown haired and brown eyes,  and working at IMMI,  in Westfield, and recently engaged and now our family is growing again ,  with an upcoming addition of a wonderful daughter-in-law, Chelsea, at the bottom of this page is a current photo of Todd & Chelsea I took on a day trip the kids  and I went on this month.   Kacy,  who is 20,  blonde  and  very curly hair,  and blue eyes,  and a student at I.U.P.U.I. , as well as a superviser at U.P.S..    Katelyn,  the only girl,  18,   with dark brown and ringlets of curly hair,  and green eyes  ( this she gets from me)  she    works as a waitress at  Jim Dandy restaurant ,  and  very active in her social life as well as sports , a senior at T.H.S. and a  varsity cheerleader.    And finally  Caleb,   who is 17,  dark brown hair and brown eyes too,  and recently got a job at Pizza King, and a Junior at Tipton High,  and very active in sports and our church youth group.   I have had a love for photography since I was young,  my father loved photography and had his own dark room and equipment,  and I loved being able to go into his darkroom and look  (not touch)  all his equipment,  and later while in college at Ball State University,  studying Art Education,  I took  my first course of photography 101,  and fell in love ,  and from there took so many classes I incorprated it in as a minor.   Now,  that my children are almost grown,  and don't need me  (this is  very sad to say)  it is time for me to  venture back to my love,  and start my own photography studio,  this is where my passion lies,  and I can give my work an artistic approach, and incorporate my  art talents into my editing and presentation of the final product.

My Interests

I am a huge fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder author of the beloved children's books Little House On The Prairie, I watched the T.V. series as a child, read the books, and traveled to the different homesites available to tour.I am a huge collector of Little Ho stuff, collector plates, stamps, drawings, and oh yes, her porcelain doll set of the whole family and Nellie Oleson too,and I am usually seen wearing Laura Ingalls-Wilder sweatshirts.  I also am a huge fan of REO Speedwagon, so much so my son Kacy is named after REO's lead singer Kevin Cronin, they call Kevin,  K.C., and this is where we got Kacy's name and his  spelling with a K and a C in his name.   I also enjoy gardening, I love perennials, and have several perennial gardens around in my yard, and am a current member of our local garden club here in Tipton, called the Tipton County Goosebean Garden club. I also love to quilt, read books and do scrapbooking, and I love to do genealogy research on all sides of my family tree, but most of all I love to spend time with my children, and I love my church, we are members of the First Baptist Church here in Tipton with Pastor Mark Ward as our minister. And last but not least I love photography !!!! Below is a current photo of our son ,Todd and our future daughter-in-law Chelsea.
